The classes I teach are based on a modified version of Pilates where Joseph Pilates original exercises have been slightly adapted making them safe for individuals that are returning to sport and exercise following pain, injury or post surgery.
The classes are suitable for anyone wishing to begin Pilates and worried about any underlying physical or health conditions.
Who would benefit:
Everyone wanting to join the class will need to have a pre class assessment done prior to starting.
During this session we will discuss your history, any concerns you have and goals you wish to achieve by starting Pilates. I will look at your movement, current strength and abilities and establish what needs addressing in the classes.
With all of this done I am better able to tailor classes to each persons individual needs and ability.
